Mystery Woman Who Was With Vegas Shooter Has Finally Been Identified — And It’s a Head-Turner

On Sunday, a man named Stephen Paddock opened fire on a Las Vegas country music festival, killing 58 people and injuring hundreds, making it the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history. Since then, many questions have been raised about the shooter and his motive, but very little has been released by the police.

Police have been looking for a mystery woman who was reported to be seen with the shooter just days prior to the shooting. Paddock’s longtime girlfriend, Marilou Danley, was not in the country at the time, so it was raising questions of who the woman could be.

But now, the woman has been identified by investigators, and ABC News is reporting she was a prostitute. Authorities did not give any other details of the woman’s identity.

ABC reports:

Meantime, investigators are still trying to figure out whether paddock acted alone. authorities believe he may have had an accomplice, based on the elaborate planning on sunday night’s rampage.

Officials also believe he had help because of the amount of guns in his hotel room, and because some of the ammo was bought under someone else’s name.

The motive of the shooter is still unknown, but more details are being released each day.
